Hey all, I’m Brandi! I am wife to Patrick and momma to four beautiful girls; Macklynn, Oaklynn, Sutton and Saybri! We live in a small town in Missouri and my husband and I own and operate a Chiropractic Office we started right after getting married.
A little about me…I love all things HOME! I love to cook and bake HOMEmade meals, desserts, and bread! I have played around with sourdough a few years now and I love to try new recipes with that. I HOMEschool our girls, primarily my oldest two but we are in the early stages and I LOVE it! Fun Fact: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, Birth-12 grade Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Classroom Teaching. I taught for seven years before deciding to stay home after we had our second daughter. I am an introvert and love to be HOME. We built our house about five years ago. We love it! From time to time we consider finding more land and building again, but we are so happy in our home as well. I love to keep myself busy with my family in our home. I taught myself to sew, machine and hand embroidery and love just about anything crafty. My girls love to craft with me. Sewing has been an incredible journey for me the past few years. I am a pattern tester for a few amazing sewing pattern companies. This simply means I test patterns with a group of people to make sure sizing and the tutorial all looks good before going on sale to the public. I am an aspiring HOMEsteader. I attempt small gardens but still have a lot to learn. Overall, spending time as a family and growing our family around Jesus is our top priority in parenting and raising our daughters.
I really wanted to start this blog as kind of a place to log and share our life journey. My husband and I are big goal dreamers. He loves to research holistic medicine and health. Through that it has really shaped our lives in the way we live. We recently just had our fourth daughter. She was born at home in our bathroom with just me and my husband present. Her sisters were all asleep in their beds. This birth was so empowering for me. Each pregnancy my curiosity and need to learn more about pregnancy, labor, birth, and nursing always grows. I really love to learn about this topic and when our daughter quickly graced us earthside I was so at peace and confident in my body. I am very interested in holistic and homeopathic remedies. I love to research and read about these topics to always learn more. I am often asked about the natural products I make and sell at our practice, tips and advice on holistic remedies, nursing support, sewing questions, sourdough and bread making advice, recipes and more. So I thought it would be great to have a place to share all of this information and hopefully inspire others to try any of these skills if they have been considering it. I hope you enjoy checking out some of my content and can connect with me through it!
